Manhattan, N.Y. - Dec. 15, 2004 - Gym Systems has expanded its business strategy by offering whole space audio video networking systems, multi-media conferencing and digital security surveillance systems.

Tom Beaumont, Gym Systems CEO, says his company now has working relationships with Sharp Electronics to support its 58-day concept space The AQUOS™ Project, as well as contracts with, Adell Corporation, Pinnacle Group/SW24, Soho House and Town Sports International. The new contracts exceed $500,000 in revenue to Gym Systems.

“We earned an expert reputation for supplying state-of-the-art entertainment electronics to high-end health clubs in the Northeast USA and decided to expand our business model to include more versatile audiovisual packages, business media and security systems for homes, hotels and residential complexes. Our customers simply demanded them,” said Tom Beaumont.

A multi-media conference room system for Secure Watch 24 (SW24), a security & event management subsidiary of The Pinnacle Group in NYC, integrates state-of-the-art networking technologies. The system allows SW24 to remotely access security conditions via high speed connection at any of its property-managed locations in the country. The system comprises four 42” plasma displays, a 50” plasma display, a custom designed audiovisual rack system and a Crestron touch-panel digital media control system.

Gym Systems recently completed audio-video entertainment installation in the fitness areas, conference room, and party rooms at The Aston, Adell Corporation’s latest high-rise condominium in midtown Manhattan. Beaumont says the spacious fitness room is complemented with a CardioTheater XTV Entertainment System and a BOSE pro-audio system for background listening. The lounge and party rooms feature 61” high definition televisions (HDTVs) with surround sound and Philips ProntoPro controllers.

Gym Systems has contracted with Soho House, the private members club and hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district, to upgrade and install new automated home-theater systems in the hotel’s rooms. In addition Gym Systems has installed a new pro-audio DJ sound system and is currently overseeing the hotel’s transition to Time Warner Cable digital cable service.

“Gym Systems ability to understand what our members enjoy with regards to audio visual entertainment and then to provide the resources that exceed their expectations is nothing short of remarkable, “ says General Manager, Mark Somen.
